We're looking for an experienced Communications Lead to join our Internal Communications and Engagement team. This role focuses on enhancing our employer brand, crafting engaging creative content, and ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal communications, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and a deep understanding of how to create impactful video and multimedia content. You will work as an individual contributor and be based in San Jose, CA (going into the office 3 times per week) or be based remotely in the Pacific or Mountain time zones. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, your responsibilities include:
- Create strategy and implementation (including writing, editing, and production) to enhance the employee/candidate experience and promote positive company culture across multiple platforms including intranet, video, email, newsletters, and others.
- Guide storytelling efforts and compelling campaigns to support global people program projects, ensuring understanding of Zscaler's voice, tone and brand consistency.
- Explore creative methods to reach employees/candidates and direct content produced by others to maintain quality and messaging guidelines.
- Define and measure the success of internal communication strategies and campaigns, making necessary adjustments to increase employee engagement while serving as a trusted advisor to internal clients.
- Lead our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) programs, ensuring that our internal and candidate-facing communications not only inform and engage but also reflect and promote our mission, vision and culture.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 7+ years of internal communications or employee communications experience.
- Experience developing creative and engaging communications across a variety of channels
- Project management experience leading communication strategies for large-scale, global programs and campaigns.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field.
- Capture the authentic voice of Zscaler and shape the internal communications narrative while finding new and effective ways to communicate and engage with employees.
Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
