We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Network Automation team. Reporting to the Sr Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • You will collaborate with teams during design, and maintain cloud-based software solutions.
  • Focus on testing at scale, with proficiency in coding using Python to automate testing. Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving customer issues, including recreating production issues and providing necessary workarounds for resolution.
  • Provide insights to the development team to enhance the RAS and debug feature of the product.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of overall experience in Python programming.
  • Tools Development: Build tools and utilities to support the testing and development process, improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Test Automation: Develop scalable test automation frameworks for our cloud security products, covering several layers of the software stack.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack, HTTP(S), TLS, PKI and other related protocols and products (DNS, DHCP, VPN, HA, routing and switching)
  • Exposure to several tunnelling methods such as IPSEC and GRE, along with expertise in L3, L4, and L7 filtering policies.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with load balancers, IPS/IDS, and routers, along with knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, networking, and HTTP/HTTPS.
  • Debugging skills to debug complex Network Infrastructure/HTTP/SSL/Firewall problems in customer environments.
  • Performance Testing: Design and implement performance and load testing strategies to evaluate the efficiency and scalability of our cloud security solutions
